ABOUT ME
I bring a wealth of both clinical and life experience to our sessions, I consider myself to be a dynamic and culturally minded therapist.

About Bianca
I began my career as an attorney in South Africa, crossing over into finance and then pursuing my passion of counseling and psychology. As a second generation psychotherapist, I grew up watching the action and immense dedication required to walk this path. I have now been in private practice for 14 years. I am licensed in Florida and Texas. I believe in accessible and culturally relevant mental health care for all.
Experience & Education
I completed my Master of Science - Counseling Psychology at Palm Beach Atlantic University in Florida. I was selected by faculty to pursue my pre-licensure clinical hours at the university counseling center. I gained invaluable experience working with college students, both individually and in group format.
Post licensure, I joined a thriving private practice in Jupiter, Florida. It was here that I began the process of developing my skills and evaluating the efficacy of various treatment modalities. I pursued training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) - a therapy to help people learn practical skills to manage emotions, cope with stress and improve relationships. I ran a DBT group program for high risk youth for several years, as well as facilitating group work at an in-patient eating disorder treatment center.
Other notable clinical work includes:
Separation and Divorce coaching and mediation
New Parent coaching and training
Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) with couples
Chronic medical condition support
Therapy for depression, anxiety and relationship struggles
Workplace conflict and communication
Executive coaching, skill development for people managers
Conflict and violence training with The Family Peace Initiative
